Kids Really Do Say The Darndest Things . . .

Yesterday, I received this email from my sister. It's so funny I just had to share. Sophia is 3.

Today, I get a phone call from Sophia's teacher . . . she bit another child so hard it almost drew blood.  I asked who it was and her teacher told me it was Dale, one of the other teacher's own children.  Great.  So when I got to school to pick her up,  I sat her down and had a major talking to with her . . . she knew she was in serious trouble.  Later, when we were all home, the kids were all sitting down having a snack.  As I unpacked Sophia's backpack, there was all kinds of birthday stuff in it. I asked her, "Sophia, whose birthday was it in school today?"  She replies,"Dale's".  I say to her "You bit Dale on his birthday??"  Sophia looks at me and adamantly says, "NO, I bit him on his arm!"
